Strut at ITVFest: The Independent Television Festival

This fall I traveled to Vermont for ITVFest with the pilot that I produced, Misha Calvert’s Strut.

Pithy Party

My Writer’s Group is presenting a series of works-in-progress on June 25th at Under St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place, New York, NY). I’m having a comedy series that I’ve been writing read, and I'm directing three of the scripts.

Gee, I Hope You Have Fun at My Mom's Death

I had a great time reading Bree O'Connor's dark, funny and moving one-woman play, Gee, I Hope You Have Fun at My Mom's Death last night. It's a work in progress, but a script with a lot of promise. I look forward to seeing how this show develops.

I've been developing some scripts with Bree's writers group. We first met while doing the LAByrinth Theater Company's Intensive together. We're cooking up some more readings for later this month. I will be directing a couple of pieces, and I will be having my work read. More details to come soon!

I have two projects in the Tribeca Film Festival this year.

I produced the pilot for Misha Calvert's Strut which will be a part of this year's Tribeca Film Festival's N.O.W. Creator's Lab. Strut is a female driven comedy, and Misha is a powerhouse who's currently developing 9 different projects. She's definitely someone to watch!

I also have a role in Kent Jones' feature film Diane. Diane is in the U.S. Narrative Competition at Tribeca this year. It features a phenomenal cast including Mary Kay Place, Estelle Parsons, Andrea Martin, Jake Lacy and me!

Happy Anniversary, Quad!

The newly renovated Quad cinema had it's one year anniversary, and I celebrated this occasion with some old colleagues from the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
